As a therapist, I take a balanced approach to therapy, addressing immediate barriers while also valuing in-depth work. The strengths I bring to the room are my curiosity, warmth, and perceptiveness. I also have a background in music, where I have cultivated the ability to listen deeply, self-regulate and remember.

I believe that humans are social beings and our wounds often originate in relationships. For example, we experience shame, which often leads to hiding from others and even ourselves.

I see therapy as a relationship centered on helping you find yourself again. I believe it is through turning towards the painful parts of our experience, in the presence of a compassionate other, that allows us to heal. My clients have told me that my calm, kind and nonjudgmental energy makes them feel safe to undergo this process.

I have experienced the benefits of therapy firsthand. It has made me feel more connected to myself and able to change. And that is what I seek to provide as a therapist—to meet you where you are and explore the barriers that get in your way.

I am amazed at the uniqueness of every person, yet the common humanity underlying all of us. That sense of wonder is what inspires me to do this work.
