Meet Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel Zink and I am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #135610) working under the license and supervision of Dr. Chantel Cortinovis, Psy.D. (PSY 28895). I received my Master’s at Antioch University, Los Angeles where I spent my traineeship at Antioch Community Therapy Services. I have also been trained in EMDR therapy and utilize this in my practice where I feel it may be most helpful for my clients. I specialize in working with adult women, young children and teens.I primarily work psychodynamically, with an integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in working with adult women and young children ages 2-4. I utilize my own creativity in play therapy based techniques and provide parent education to promote a secure attachment relationship between parent and child.

In my work with both adults and children, I view therapy as a container to explore thoughts and feelings in a way that may not be able to be expressed elsewhere. My aim is to assist my clients in cultivating a space for emotional safety, growth and attunement to their most authentic self.

I understand as a therapist that deep reflective work and change can be overwhelming, and therefore I work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I also invite you to become curious about your rich history and how it may be showing up in your present life and relationships.

Together we will pay attention to the inner belief systems that you hold and sift through both the origins and evidence of what has shaped them. On our path, you will learn to gain a deeper understanding of how you became to be who you are and how to continue evolving into the truest, most loving version of yourself.
